We installed the our second copy of Crystal Reports. CR loads if we are signed in as the administrator but not as the user. The splash screen loads but just sits there until we end task using task manager.
If you know how to use Process Monitor, then you should be able to find what is exactly failing.
My guess is Crystal Reports installation created a virtual registry instead of registering it in
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\SAP BusinessObjects
Possible solution: Reinstall Crystal Reports, but this time login as Administrator and right-click Setup.exe and select Run as Administrator.
