Depreciation to WBS & Cost centers

Hai,

<u><b>Query:</b></u>

Depreciation to be posted to

WBS Element. (without doing Periodic reposting from cost center to WBS)

<u><b>Steps Done:</b></u>

I have assigned Cost

Center in Asset Master and also made an appropriate settings in ACSET for

depreciation to cost center posting. Hence the depreciation posting is

fine to cost centers.

<b><u>Clarification required:</u></b>

Now the client want to book the depreciation amount of

some assets to WBS element which belongs to Project and

remaining to cost centers. Is it possible if it is yes, how do i

activate WBS element in asset master and what are the steps to be added in

ACSET.

You can change the field status variant to have WBS field at the time of transaction posting.

Change the field status varinat from

IMG> Asset Accounting> Transactions> Budget Monitoring with Statistical Orders/WBS Elements> Change the Field Status of the Asset G/L Accounts> Define Field Status Variants

Change Field Status for Posting Keys

Since the Asset master data did not have the WBS element give it at the time of transaction posting and this WBS will be picked at the time of Depreciation just like the Cost Center

hai,

All the settings has been done. Can you tell me, what steps to be followed in ACSET

1.for WBS either i want to select PS_PSP_PNR or PS_PSP_PNR2

2.transaction type all the three to be maintained or not 500,501 7 502

3.APC Value posting or Depreciation run

and another thing is

Asset master creation, cost center is required or not.

i want to post only depreciation to WBS not asset value.

Please guide me to complete this.
