How does the Production Schedule Profile

Hello

Some of the important functionalities of production schedule profile(PSP) in work sheduling view are

1.Scheduling with the order release

2. Auto Goods Reciept

3.Capacity Profile

4.Determines order type when planned order is converted in production order

Now, I am maintaining all of the functionalities without using PSP

say when we convert planned order to production order in MD04, it takes to CO40

where we schedule, do capacity check and release the production order <b>without maintaining Production schedule Profile</b>

Assigning of the order type can be done in CO01 ( not sure in C040)

How does <b>Production Schedule Profile influence in planning</b> <b>& Production activities</b>

    Hi Eshwar,

    I did not understand, waht you are implying to. Production scheduling profile helps you to release orders automatically when you convert planned orders to production orders. Automatic good receipt is performed and some confirmation activities automatically. In process industry it creates control receipe and batch automatically. PSP performs these steps automatically, instead you doing them step by step.

      In MD04, when we convert planned order to production orders - we reach to CO40 where we realease the production order manually ( Green flag)

      Instead of realeasing the production order manually we can use the <b>production schedule profile to realease the production order automatically</b> (so there is no need to click on green flag manually in CO40 for releasing the production orders) , where after systems does capacity leveling and post automatic goods reciepts

    Assign this production scheduling profile to the production scheduler and. I think we have to assign the production scheduler to the the plant please check it up. Then only this work
