we currently have the problem that the plan requirement for a new created KMAT (configurable material) does not generate secondary requirements, that means the production orders are created correctly, but after the MRP run no plan is available at component level. We assume that is caused by characteristics planning that is defined as a multiple-value characteristics and contains many AND/Or-functions in its characteristic. As I read in OSS note 68033 that SAP didn't support such complex combinations but this information is from 2012! Are there another information or a solution for restriction of characteristics in the meantime?
