Insallation of SAP NW : Error occurred during initialization of VM !!!

Hi everyone,

I have reinstalled the SAP NetWeaver 2004s SP9, the installation went well, but this time i have some problems with the J2EE Server (with an exit code equal to -2)

The result of the Developer trace is :

[Thr 3100] JStartupICheckFrameworkPackage: <b>can't find</b> framework package D:\usr\sap\J2E\JC01\exe\<b>jvmx.jar</b>

<b>Error occurred during initialization of VM

Could not reserve enough space for object heap</b>

[Thr 392] JLaunchIAbortJava: abort hook is called

[Thr 392] **********************************************************************

  • ERROR => The Java VM aborted unexpectedly.

  • Please see SAP Note 943602 , section 'Java VM crashes'

  • for additional information and trouble shooting.

[Thr 392] JLaunchCloseProgram: <b>good bye (exitcode = -2)</b>

    Hi,

    check path .../j2ee/os_libs/

    move those file into different directory ... try start

    Hi,

    Check whether your Database is up and running. If not start the Database first and then restart the Instance.
