SAP Ase Cockpit

Can i use SAP ASE Cockpit with business suite environment ? Have you any idea ?

Hello Fazil,

To answer to your question: yes it is possible BUT for Business Suite environment it is recommended to use DBACockpit: you have there ATM, Data Framework Collectors, Configuration Checks regarding recommended configurations of ASE for Business Suite, and others monitoring jobs that you won't find on ASE Cockpit which has been developed for stand-alone ASE systems.

Dear Kiran,

My real problem is with SAP DBACOCKPIT. After configured the HADR, HA/DR tab appears in DBACOCKPIT i scheduled all HADR collector but some collectors not works correctly in DBACOCKPIT. Collectors always getting error. Because of this i research an alternative graphical tool for monitoring HADR configuration. I thought may be Ase Cockpit solve my problem but as i learned Ase Cockpit just using for standalone Sybase.

Looking at your reply, I feel you wanted some feature of ASE Cockpit. Can you explain so that we can see if the same is incorporated in DBACOCKPIT (Typical Business Suite Setup)

Hi Fazil,

Sorry for the delay of my reply.
Actually there is no "ASE Cockpit" to be configured for Business Suite.
When you'll configure the ASE Cockpit you'll configure it for your ASE as any ASE standalone installation (it is independent of any customer application).
