Hi All,
I have a user name xxx for which I want to change the password. I log in as the Administrator but under User Administrator when i try to modify the General information then on load the disable password radio button comes selected with the other two radio button permanently disabled.
Now when I try changing the same using Visual Admin and then secure storage->User management ..still it does not have any effect.
Let me know how can it be resolved and moreover let me inform you that I have also created one more user id with superadmin rights and still it is not helpful.
Note: The user xxx which is the subject has data source as LDAP where as the other users for which every thing is normal has data source as UME database.
So if this is a reason then let me know how it can be handled.
Regards
DK
Is your LDAP configured as read-only or read-only for the password? Take a look at your data source configuration file.

Hi,
Check the permission in System Administration -> Permissions -> Security Zones -> com.sap -> Netweaver.Portal -> high_safety.
It may be read only. change that.
