Reg CNE1 transaction

Hi All,

could you please some body tell me the purpose of CNE1 and CNE2 transaction business point of view as I am technical guy I want to know exactly what will do with this transactions what exaclty meant by project progress?Please provide some link to the help which will idea of these 2 transactions.

    CNE1 is run for a single or project range in foreground

    CNE2 is run for a single or project range using variants, variant is like creating groups). You have the option of executing the transaction in background.
