NWDS debugging error: Could find executable for file extension=htm

Hi,

I tried to debug an application(EJB)

the ejb is just logic for forwarding a http post to a web site.

it can be queried through web service or through JSP.

But the bean is not giving back the result and there are axception.

I tried to debug it from developer studio but I got error

"Could find executable for file extension=htm"

Do you have any clue on this error?

Hi Giamma,

I've gotten this error before and it was because IE was not set as my default browser, which it has to be.

The only way to make it your default browser is to go into IE, and go to Tools --> Internet Options. On the Programs tab there's a checkbox at the bottom "Internet Explorer should check to see whether it is the default browser". If you check that, then close all IE windows, then open IE again, if IE is NOT your default browser it will ask if you want to make it your default. Then you can make it your default browser and try again.

There may be other reasons you get this error, but that fixed it for me!
