unable to cancel GR

Hi experts

we were trying to cancel GR on 30-11-2007.

we got the following error message.

po no: 0023060608 po item 00010 E M7 037 in plant PN54, post to current period 2007/12.

please help me.

Flag the Check box in OMSY or MMRV and do it

Dear Ramesh

The following error you are getting because of the fact that the posting date you entered is outside the current posting period as you are in Dec month and you are trying to do cancellation in Nov which according to SAP system is not possible .

Either the correct current period has not been set in the system or you have entered a wrong date in the field "Posting date".

If you really want to do cancellation in themonth of the Nov and then you have to allow back posting for Nov.In this system can allow you to do transaction in Nov also .

You can go to MMRV transaction enter the Company code and press enter and set tick for allow back posting

Save .

Then try to cancel document for the Nov.
