HI,

WE HAVE FINISHED PRODUCT HAVING MRP TYPE-PD, COMPONENT HAVING VB , WHEN WE RUN MRP WITH MD02 IT ONLY CREATE REQMT FOR FINISHED PRODUCT,

HOW CAN I GET REQUIREMENT FOR COMP ALSO, IS THERE ANY SETTING.

PL SUGGEST.

    Hi

    Change MRP Type to PD for comp also if u want planed order qty based on fin prduct reqmt

    Otherwise give more(than stock) reorder point to get the planned order for comp if u use VB as a MRP Type

      All depends on ur requirements..

      If u want all in one u can run at plant level MD01 for all materials the same can be scheduled in background via MDBT..

      If u want for one material multi level use MD02 and only one level MD03

      I hope u know all these Txns still just a refreshment

    Do you mean to say that MRP has created REQ or Planned order???

    If MRP is not creating any Pl Order for Comps, the reason might be that

    there might be sufficient stock available for these comps.

    Hi,

    In your case, depedent requirements will not be created, since Mrp type VB system creates direct procurement proposal whenever component stock falls below the reorder point when u Run MRP for Finished product.

    hi all

    as the guys, the vb ( reoder point ) is not taking care about the dep reqmt when there is the sufficient qty, when we going to hav the mrp run,

    Procurement will be triggered only when the stock level falls below the re-order point (indicated in material master). In your case, probably there may be free stock more than the re-order values. Hence, no fresh requirements are genereated.
