Sale order assignment to production order

Hi

is it possible to assign sales order number to a running production order. Because i tried it is possible in the case of planned order,where as the sales order field is disabled from entry in production order.

Hi

If it is MTO strategy , Sales order will get assign automatically.

If it is not pure MTO strategy, it is not possible to assign in production order.

As some body suggested to assign it in table level by taking access key, which is not at all advisable.

It is not clear as to what is the requirement of the scenario.

you can make stock transfer form unrestricted to ales order stock finally.

sales order assignment is linked with settlemant of order..If u use strategies whcich belongs to MTO senario then only u can assign/automatically assigned the SO to prd order

I think for the running Prd orderu can't assign any SO after GR u can move the stock to special stock i.e wrt SO

If you want to assign sales order then you directly assign it in table itself afpo,with permission to use access key.
