Display SC Documents from deleted EBP User

Former Member

Hello SRM Experts,

System SRM Server 550 (SP8)

Classic Scenario

We have deleted a EBP User via the transaction USERS_GEN. The user is removed poperly from the org structure. But now we are not able to show the old sc docs from the deleted user. The error message in the sc monitor is following:

"User not in org. structure or deleted".

Is there any way to show the sc docs again maybe by reassigning of the GUID?

Thank you very much in advance.

Best regards

Axel

Hi,

If the user is deleted, and the shoping cart exists in the application, then the shooping cart cannot be displayed. If you want to view/ process those shopping carts, then you have to create a dummy user and retrieve the document. In CRMD_PARTNER table, the old user GUID should be replaced with the new user GUID.

Pls see the foll threads for more details:

Note 751022 - Monitor Shopping Cart: Item deletion causes termination

Another way to retrieve all Shopping carts from the old user is by performing the following steps:

1.) Find the BP that the User was tied to, before repairing him with BBP_CHECK_USERS.

2.) Once you find the Old BP Number, make sure you make a note of it.

3.) Goto the New BP Number in Transaction BP and double click on the BP number.

4.) Change the " Display in BP Role" to Employee from a drop down in the top of the screen.

5.) Click on the "Identification tab" and remove the USER ID from the User name field and Save your changes.

6.) Once you have done this, again open transaction BP and open the OLD BP number that you made a note of and perform the same steps as mentioned above till you reach the "Identification Tab"

7.) Once you reach the identification tab, you will see the USER NAME field empty. Please populate this field with the USER ID that you just removed from the New BP and Save it.

8.) Now if you log back in with the Same USER ID, you will find all the Old Shopping carts that User had created, however you might not find the new one as they are tied to the new BP.
