Idoc transactions- IDX1, IDX2, IDX5-best for monitoring idoc with number.

Withe SXMB_MONI- try to click on the link-idoc of the particu;ar message so u get diverted to the IDX5.

For Monitoring IDOC

BD87 - Inbound IDoc reprocessing

BD88 - Outbound IDoc reprocessing

BDM2 - IDoc Trace

SXMB_MONI : Monitor in the XI PipeLine.

IDX1: Port maintenance in Idoc Adapter

IDX2: Metadata overview for Idoc adapter

IDX5 : Find the XML Message in the XI

Apart from these you cal also monitor through this transaction series

RZ20=> Tivoli mnagaer for my SAP.comf=>CCMS pugin F=>Idoc monitoring

For Monitoring IDOC

<u>From R/3</u>

outbound IDOC:

<b> SM58 : shows <i> 'nothing selected'</i> if IDOC sent successfully.</b>

( if this shows any message other than 'nothing selected' there is an error, the IDOC is not properly reached the Reciever

<u>In XI:</u>

<b> IDX5 : </b> Find the XML Message in the XI

<b> SXMB_MONI :</b> Monitor in the XI PipeLine.

<u>Additional</u>

<b> BD87 </b>- Inbound IDoc reprocessing

<b> BD88 </b>- Outbound IDoc reprocessing

<b> BDM2 </b>- IDoc Trace

u can check the status in WE02...according to the status number u can trace the error.

2) What are the three IDOC transactions in XI?

plz elaborate the question.....

3) What are prerequisites for importing customer defined IDOC?

the ports and rfc destinations to be maintained....apart from that no special requirements r required.

4) What are the different monitoring status? Where do you find them?

Successfull delivery

scheduled for processing

Manually stopped.

all these status can be found in sxmb_moni for more help visit help.sap.com

5) What are the properties of receiving IDOC adapter?

RFC destination and port details r required..

Hi Gabriel,

1. It depends the error type. Sometimes you must use neither idoc transaction in R3, or mapping programs, or IDX2 .....

2. IDX1,IDX2,IDX4, SXMB_MONI, SM58, SMQ1,SMQ2 ....

3. Create the ZIdoc in R3 and import it in SAP PI. Is the same procedure that normal IDOC.

4. In general, SXMB_MONI is the best tool for it.

5. Program ID is the mainly properties, you must to configure in R3 (SM59) the logical destiny as tcp connection.
