Create IBASE

Hi,

We are working on CRM 5.0 system with IC web.

We already have products in the CRM system.

Need to attach the IBASE to the products so that in the intercation center when we confirm the customer we would like to search the products.

Since the products are not attached to the iBSE we are not getting any products in the IC.

Can any one let me know how can the products be attached to the IBASE ?

Thanks.

Muru.

    Hi Rohit,

You will have to create an IBase using transaction IB51.

Choose a Ibase Category eg. 01.

Put an Id , description, and u will find a tab Product where in u can enter the product Id.

Also put the partner details, for that click on GOTO--> Partner and add the partner function like Sold-to Party.

In the account identification customizing, put Ibase serach partner as Customer.

    Wish the information is useful.

    Dear Rohita,

The difference in Product and IBASE is that when a particular product bearing serial no. A001 and batch CD98765 is bought by Mr. abc. then that product will become as IBASE.

so as soon as you attach BP to IBASE . in account identification it will search how many Ibase are attached to this BP, and Ibase belongs to which product.

Hope this will help to understand the concept of IBASE.
