Partially delivered quantities of a sales order is consuming the allocations in AC42?

Dear Experts,

I have two sales orders. SO 1 is with 20 quantity and SO 2 is with 20 quantity requirement.

Allocations in AC42 for today 10 tomorrow 20.

In today’s BOP run SO 1 is confirmed with 10 quantity out of 20 requirement and delivered today

Tomorrow BOP run ideally should consider that tomorrow 20 allocations and confirm the remaining 10 open quantity of SO1 and should allow SO2 to consume the remaining 10.

But here SO1 already delivered order is coming and sitting in incoming order quantity and not allowing to confirm the SO2.

If I run the SDRQCR21 program some time the remaining quantity will be visible in AC42 but when I run the BOP that remaining quantity is not consuming by the any other open orders.

Can somebody suggest why this strange situation is occurring in AC42.

We will copy allocations from PA to PAG (Not using the check PA directly option)

We are using release 7.02

Dear Sree Raju,

I'm sorry, your description of the issue is no quite clear. Even if the SO1 is partially delivered, the consumption of the SO1 has to stay in the allocation. Maybe you can attach some screenshots of the situation and let us know some details about the PAL customizing? Whats the Checking date, consumption period?

Why do you think the partial delivered order should not consume the allocation?

best regards,

Michael

Dear Michael,

First of all ..... WISH YOU A VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR...!!!

Thank you so much for your reply and apologies for late reply.

Check date is MBDAT

Consumption period is BWD is 90 and without past periods check box is enabled and Consume oldest period option is selected and forward consumption is 365.

We dont have any customization in PAG.

Here two scenarios i am explaining which are happening currently

Please correct me if I am wrong.

Scenario 1: Here partially delivered sales order should consume only for remaining open quantity but here in this case let says SO quantity is 30 and got delivered partially for 20 and today we have allocations 10 so ideally the same SO should commit only for remaining 10PC with todays MAD date during BOP run and update the same to ECC but here that remaining 10 quantity is not commiting for todays MAD date. So, there is no confirmation for todays date.

Scenario 2: Fully Delivered sales order should not consume the allocation quantity but here in this case let says i have allocations 51 for today, SO got delivered fully for 295 in the recent past and today i have allocations for 51 so ideally the new SO should commit for 51pc with todays MAD date during BOP run and update the same to ECC but here already delivered SO is consuming even todays and future allocations also and not giving a space for other orders to commit.

It is creating lot of visibility issues at order level. As of now in this case i am running SDRQC21 report some times it will correct the issue otherwise i need to take robust approach to fix the issue. As you suggested I am attaching screen shots also.

Could you please through some light on this issue - your help in this regard is highly appreciated.
