Problem with MRP run

Hi Gurus,

I have a problem with the MRP Run. I maintained all necessary data and I start transaction MD02 to make a single item run. When I check the checkbox "display results before they are saved" the systems shows me, that a purchase requisition will be created. If I then save the data I get this information:

Statistics

Materials planned 1

Materials with new exceptions 1

Materials with terminated MRP list 1

So no PR is created (although the system even reserves the number it showed in the simulation). Does anyone have an idea what is wrong here?

    Hi

If you bwant to run for single item you can go in for MD03.

Does'nt matter , you can run MD02 also.

As for your update system is running ok.

If you would have selected another chk box" display material list"

It would have displayed list materials planned .

As of now sysrtem is Ok..

Pl. let us know what do you want from the system

    Regards

      Hi,

I maintained the material master with VB, reorder point 10, Lot Size HB and maximum stock level 100.

So I want the system to create a purchase requisition proposing 100 pc of that material (since current stock level is 0). MRP is activated and from my perspective I maintained all necessary data in customizing.

When I run MRP for a single item and check that checkbox that I mentioned the system shows me, that a purchase requisition will be created (exactly as I want it), but when I actually save the result, no PR is created (but the current number range status of the PRs has changed (e.g. 100285 to 100286 although PR 100285 does not exist).
