Delivery creation

Hi,

Delivery is being created before material availability date in the sales oredr, can any one tell me how it is possible?

For ex: order was created on 11/12/2007 and requested delivery date was 11/29/2007, due to which system proposed MOD on 11/28/2007.Transit time is 1 day and customer will receive material on 11/29/2007.

But,system allowes me to create delivery on 11/15/2007,I wonder how it is possible.

    Hi Ravinder

    Check the document flow.

    1) Note that the delivery document flow date<b> is not the MAD date</b> .

    2) In SAP , you can create delivery document today <b>even if MAD date is in future</b> .The document creation date logged onto the document flow would be today's date.

    3)To execute the delivery document you need to enter the <b>selection date >= MAD date</b>. <b>The planned pick date would always be the MAD date</b>.

    4) PGI date would be the date on which PGI document is created.

    5) Billing date would be the date on which Billing document is created.

    Hi ,

    May be stock is now available in plant and storage location u have mentioned, and somebody again run ATP.

    Else check the Schdule line category is it CN ( No planning )

    in vov8. chosse the order type in the shipping tab u will find 'immidiate delivery ' option - put 'x' there.
