customer has founded that 5 are damaged. so he will return the goods or
the company takes back the 5 returned goods .These 5 will go to plant A from where it has sent.
But my clients requirement is that the returned goods has to go to Plant B.

hi
well to cleared this bare in mind that Plant A issued 10, and client returning 5, to balance the stock u need to create a ret ord back to plant A, therefore after move 5 qty from A to B plant to plant movement, so that your inventory should have balance stoke and record.

hi,
Generally for return order ensure to have different shipping conditions and the shipping condition value is used to determine the shipping point.
In returns processing, a returns delivery must be made with a shipping point that represents the incoming goods. It would not be recommended to use the same shipping point for returns or receiving goods as you do for outgoing deliveries. Thus, you can assign all returns sales document types their own returns shipping conditions and promote a returns shipping point.
Having a returns shipping point allows greater visibility in the system and in the plant of
material movements. This also allows the processing of the delivery due list for returns orders only.

hi,
if the purpose of the plant B is to merely store the returned goods then a better solution cud be to create storage locations within plant A. this will significantly stremline the org structure and the requirement can be met easily.
