Restrict Multiprovider to cube

Hi all!

Can I restrict my Multiprovider to get data from only one or two cubes in the Filter Pane in Query Designer.

If so , can you please tell me how do I proceed?

I have a multiprovider with 6 cubes. But I need to restrict it to only one cube.

    Drag and Drop <b>Infoprovider</b> ( guess from the Datapacket Dimension ) into Filter and restrict it to the required Cube.

    Harsha,

    You can restrict it by slecting the Info Provider object in your Query Designer and restrict that from your selectes infocube..

    Yes Sri, you can restrict your Multiprovider by selecting a single info cube.

    You can do changes in Query Designer.

    Drag info provider into Filters and by right click you can find options as restricting, there you select the required cube.

      Sri Harsha,

      Liek other customer exit variable you can create a variable with processing type customer exit. And in CMOD, you can write code in I_STEP = 1. Here if you want you can even manipulate F4 help for 0INFOPROV for this particular infoprovider.

      Also you can think of authorization techniques if they can be manipulated for this particular query and thus let the user see only few values.

      Well, code for the above said option is a big thing.

    with the help of Identification Tab in multi provider ,you can solve this issue .

    in identification tab you can restric to pertaining cube ,with that you can encount this issue
