Regarding error in installation

Hi,

while installing BW in installing central instance in SAP

and i Database parameters i am getig an error :

"Connection to the specified database host failed !! Please check the

host name !!"

I am not able to proceed further from here.

please help me in this regard..............

    hi.,

    I think you would have given a wrong host name,

    i could not get much information from the lines you have given.

    Check it whether DB installation is successful,else give the right path to DB during BW installation.

    The error show you define wrong host plz check your host then connect again

    may be ur given wrong hostname in host file check once...
