CRM 5.0 - IC WebClient - BSP Controller Substitution

Hi Gurus

We have modified our BupaSearch, BupaDetail & BupaCreate .htm files and loaded the controller substitutions against the relevant profile and it's working perfectly within the Identify Account navigation option.

Now when testing our email processing I follow this logic:

1: Inbox search: Category = Email

Time Period = Last 3 Days

Search

2: Select an Email to process - click on Interact

3: Views open in BupaIdCustomerWithEmail viewset:

Business Partner - Top Left (50%)

Email - Top Right (50%)

Search Results - Bottom (100%)

The issue here is that the Business Partner view is supposed to be the Substituted views BuPaDetail, BuPaCreate, BuPaSearch

I have included the BupaIdCustomerWithEmail controller in my Substitution list as well and even removed the Email view to confirm I hade the right viewset.

It still appears for the BupaIdCustomerWithEmail set of view are overridden somehow to the SAP Standard versions.

I've used the User parameter CRM_ICWC_TEST to confirm the views names.

Does anyone have an answer on how to fix this.

Maximum points for the right answer, these views need to be corrected urgently.

Hi Gurus

This is solved.

I found seperate controllers for the three views. The controllers are:

BupaECreate.do

BupaEDetail.do

BupaESearch.do

These can only be found using SE80, by looking under Controller for CRM_IC BSP Application. I was not able to locate by looking under BSP_WD_WORKBENCH.

Once I copied the controllers into my Customer Name Space, the correct views displayed as required.

Sneaky piece of work - yes.
