Script - Assigning Formats to Device Type

Hi,

I want to assign formats(Page format) to Device types.

What is the way to do it.

When I go to transaction SPAD in the tab Output Device I found the printer to which I should attach the Page format.

When I go to to tab Device types I am not able to found the Printer there.

Please let me know how the printer name and Page format will be set.

Thanks & Regards,

Sandeep Patil

    Hi,

Try this Sequence, Create a page format, assign it to a Format type, Assign the format to the device type, and this device type will be assigned to output device i.e. printers.

    Hope this helps.

    Regards,

    Siva

    Hi,

    1.Go to transaction SPAD.

2.Select Device Types tab.Under that select device type .

    3. Select required device type and double click on that . You will get a window

Which is having all the details of print control. Here u can select printer name and page format

    regards,
