HI,,

As of now we have SAP EP 6.0 We are trying to install SAP NETWEAVER COMPOSITE ENVIRONMENT 7.1 EVALUATION SR3...

Is it possible to that...I mean there will be any compatibility issues

Hi,

You're not giving us the full picture but I can't see any issues, as long as they have different SID's they should be fine.

Could you please tell me wht is actually meant by an SID

We have the DVD consisting of the following software

1 composite application development

2 Java EE 5 application development

3 SAP NWDS

4 MaxDB 7.6 database

If we want to install the caf do we need to install all the above software..

Could you please list out the steps required to install composite environment

Hi Rev,

As for the steps for the installation, please download the installation guide from SAP Marketplace...

As far as i can see you have a Portal running in the box already... you need to make sure you have enough resources to install a 2nd engine, also check that the J2EE and the J5EE can run side by side and use the same DB, etc, etc, etc.... seems like you have a lot of reading to do!... start by reading the installation manual and checking the requirements.
