Project Codes

We have several operating costs accounts that require a mandatory entry in the project code field (could be various codes) is there any way of forcing this when processing? eg option on the chart of account "account details" tab, a field with a tick box for 'project codes mandatory'. If selected and the user tries to save a document to this GL a system message appears advising "GL requires project codes" or something similar?

Create user field that mandotary field and set userfield as formatted search for GL field but this case message but display 'user field is require field'

Or use sdk and coding for validate data

Hi thanks but i have decided to set the default project code to REQUIRED so when the user posts to these GL's they are reminded to change the code to the appropriate code. they can run the transaction report by projects to identify any transactions that have not been changed from REQUIRED
