MRP For Stoarge Location

Hi I want to run MRP for a storage location AB01 which is in plant 1000. Also I have defined a seprate MRP Area for this Location. But some of the material is lying at AB02 Location and I want that instead of generating a Requistion for External vendor It should generate a Demand for this Slocation.

Please help where I can customise the same.

Thanks

    Hi,

    Your problem is not clear.

If you want to consider the stock of AB01str location, proceed the steps as follows.

Create demand by md61, give input of material no & plant (no mrp area)

    MRP run MD02.

Stock list MD04, initial screen give plant.

If you want to consider the stock of AB02 str location(MRP AREA), proceed the steps as follows.

Create demand by md61, give input of material no & MRP AREA

    MRP run MD02.

Stock list MD04, initial screen give MRP AREA. System will consider the stock in the str loc of AB02.

If you have created Scope of planning for this MRP AREA , run MRP by MD01.Don't forget to indicate parallel processing in the initial screen.

    Hope this helps.

    Regards,

    Dharma
