uploading 18 million records with ABAP proxy

HI,

I am going to upload 18 million records using ABAP proxy. ( webservice-XI-CRM).

I will be using standard BAPI's to do the work.

my question is how long( hours/days) will it take to create 18 million Business partners in CRM.

I am not worried from XI side. XI can push all the records in small small chunks say 100 records at a time to CRM. But how CRM handles the data, how much time it takes to create the BPs is my question.

    Depends on many variables and it will be unique to your set-up (network, hardware, efficiency of bapi coding).

    I'd run a test for a small chunk (100K) and use that to base an estimate.
