Cant record a CATT in scat transaction

Hi guys,

i need to create a new catt, but when i try to create a CATT by recording a transaction shows that cant be done, not allowed for higher version of 6.20.

the transaction allow me to create a manual, but i need to create a big one.

any ideas?

Hello Javier

Compared to eCATT (transaction SECATT, available >= 6.20) SCAT is stone-age testing.

eCATT recording should always be done from the system with the <b>highest release</b> within your system landscape. Preferably if you have a stand-alone solution manager this is probably the most suitable system for recording.

All you need from there are RFC connections to the systems where you want to record actually.

Hi,

pls do the the following steps

Enter Transaction Code : SCAT

STEP 1:

Enter Test case Name and click create button

and then Enter Short description and then first time TYPE u have to select MANUAL TEST CASE and select COMPONENT.

then SAVE.

STEP 2 :

Open the TEST CASE in CHANGE MODE.

now change the TYPE to CATT. and SAVE.

STEP 3:

Enter Transaction Code : SCEM

Open the Test case and do the recording.
