Overall Results doesn't match the detailed drill down

Hi,

When drilling down my sales report by 0CALYEAR or 0CALQURTER, I get 620 in the Overall Result row.

When drilling down the same report by months (0CALMONTH), I get the summation of 640, which is the correct sum.

The properties definition of the KF for result calculation is "nothing defined".

There are no unassigned values of 0CALYEAR or 0CALQURTER in these sales records.

What might be the reason for this mismatch between the rows and the Overall result row?

Thanks,

Ofer.

    Hi Ofer,

Try drilling down by both Quarter and Month and see if the records coming up have both these entries populated..

    Regards.

    Hi Ofer,

I would suggest that you make the reports per quarter.

First quarter 1 and month 1, 2 and 3 and so on.

Then add more details to both reports (sales document, invoice or whatever) until you find a difference you can bring back to one record.

Then go to the maintenace screen of you cube and find this record in the contents.

Try to find out what datapackage it was and compare all keyfields.

In this way you will find the difference.

    Good luck

    Udo

Hi,Set Suppress result rows to 'never' to first char in rows...make sure Same property is set to 'always' for all other chars. No,Compare overall result..
