Hello,
Running ECS 5.0
We are replikating our org structure from HR and due to that we have a business scenario where one user is employed in many different organisations.
The example could be a teacher that has a position in 3 different schools and should be able to create shopping carts from all 3 different schools. In the org sturcture, this would be 3 different organisational units with 3 different managers.
Is this possible to do without using the "shop on behalf of" functionality?

There is this new object generated within the Org-Structure with the prefix CP which means central person. This is a construct from HR where you can have one person referring to several positions/CPs within a company -- letz assume your teacher has 3 sub-contracts - each with 12h/week and each for a different CP-position.
This sounds interesting but this is a HR functionality built on top of the OrgMngmnt which is BC or something else generic... and of course on top of this the SRM OrgMngmnt is built on. What I want to get over here is that although one could think that such a functionality is available it is not taken into consideration by SRM necessarily. From my perspective the issues is - once user's attributes resp. hierarchy assignment is read this happens bottom up -- ie. user, position, CP, OrgUnit etc. So once you start reading at a certain point you need to decide at which CP etc. to continue.
This is not possible/implemented in SRM as far as I know. So just in case you heard of something like that possible with CPs -- I don't think that would work. But you could think about having your system 'modified' using this specific system feature?
