Hi All,

We have SAP Wingui transaction iview integrated in SAP portal 7.4. The iview for Bw backend system. Basically its a transaction iview to open an excel with BW data and opens through BeX analyzer.

All the SSO set up is fine but for one single user on opening the iview its asking for user name and password again. Its not happening for any other user. For the same user same backend system related SAP GUI for HTML iviews are working fine.

For the same user when logged in from other machine it works fine. Can anyone throw some light on what may have gone wrong or what machine specific setting may need to be checked

Thanks

Uday

Hi Uday,

In a HTTP Trace (e.g: Browser F12 network trace) look for request tx.sapssd (In internet explorer). In Chrome or other browser it is tx.sap file that downloads.

Open either tx.sapssd or tx.sap in a text editor (like Notepad). The MYSAPSSO2 cookie/logon ticket should be passed here. Check the cookie is the actual logon ticket to your portal (Check in F12 tool network trace the cookie value is matching).

Best regards,

Nick
