Hi expert, I try to create a CDS veiw , and use case clause for a field, when I try to use function substring , it show error message below,

User-defined functions are not supported in the SEARCHED CASE WHEN CLAUSE IN SAP

but if I want to use function in stead , I get following error :

those type of functions are not supported in ABAP CDS VIEW, so I created table function, where those function can be recoginized in AMDP code.
