Item Category D and Account assignment K

Hi Friends

I am facing an error while raising a Service PO, that the moment i am mentioning item category D account assignment category gets suppressed means i can not enter account assignment. Relation between item category D and account assigment is maintained.

What possible reason can be.Need help ASAP

    Hi

    Please check whether have u maintain , the combination for item category D and account assignment category.

    Follow the path:

    ImG....>Materials Management...>Purchasing...>Account Assignment..>Define Combination of Item Categories/Account Assignment Categories.

    If there is no combination maintain, then maintain it.

      Hi

      Please check the Document type you are using for the Creation of service PO & Check what is the Filed selection Key assigned to that.

      Now Check the filed selection key details in T.code OMF4, In Basic data, item

      Check whether the field Account assignment category is optional or in Display mode.

    Hi,

    Check any Screen Variant is used for this transaction in SHD0 transaction.

    May be that is the reason for suppressing the field.
