ALV GRID display(urgent)

hi can u pls tell me how to get the no of records in alv under following conditions

if u have a several records in the internal table which u r passing to the ALV.

And if u want to validate those records under a particular condition and print the output with number of records under different condition . Means X no of records under conation one

and Y no of records under condition two ...likewise
