Getting garbage text added with german language

Hi ,

I am using german as a interner explorer language.I have created separate property file for german text in my webdynpro application.So depends on what browser language it is taking correct language but with that it is adding some garbage text.

Like if i am using Fligkeitsdatum, so while it displayed it shows like Fälligkeitsdatum.

How can i over come from this issue?

Maybe your text file encoding is not UTF-8?

Hi,

If you are working with webdynpro try to use .xlf files.

create .xlf files for different languages

Webdynpro will take care of the rest based on the locale.

Thanks for your suggestion but i am not using .xlf file for changing the language . Instead of it i am using Resource bundle to do the same.

Problem is when i deploy my application its add some garbage text with the existing german text .

So is their any setting i need to do from Internet explorer?

Or any other setting i need to change so that the text will not get changed.

Hi Vinay,

I too faced this type of problem. But I am not sure the context.Just try this. Before you set the text you just make the target text empty ("");
