GR/IR Clearing

Hi

The G/L Account for GR/IR Clearing has not been Ticked for Open Item Management, as required as at the time of Config it was missed out now I am not able to select it as already posting have happened in it

Can you please inform me what wld be the effects if the Open Item Management is not ticked for GR/IR Account......
