How to apply filter on more than 2 dataproviders in webtemplate

HI experts,

my webtemplate is having 2 dataproviders DP1 and DP2. i would like to apl=ply filter to both the dataproviders.

i came to know that , can achive through some javascript code.. I dont know javascript...please give me some sample code...

Please guide me how to do this

Anil,

Do you know if you use some of the Web Items (Hierarchy / Check Box / Radio buttons etc). you can achieve a change in both data providers this way also?

In the properties of the web item it has a section for Affected Dataproviders, tick all that apply.

actually i am usign more thatn two querys in my webtemplate..

also i am having navigation pane, drilldown pane ...and filter pane...

i couldn't find any settting to effect filter...

Hi Anil,

It does not matter how many Queries u are using

Just click on the <b>Table, Chart, Navigation pane, Drilldown pane or filter</b> <b>pane</b>.....You can see the option <b>List of Affected Data Providers</b> in the <b>Properties</b> column whcih is to the left hand side of your WAD.

This option gives the list of all dataproviders that you are using.........Just tick the reuired checkbox...

while applying filter tabs are working fine as per u r settings.. but the Buttons are not working..please give me some suggestion on this

Hi Rakesh,

I achived manually spcifyinng the char in the command set_selection_state_by_binding. but my client want that i should apply to all Tabs and Button dynamically.i don;t know how to do this.. i searched fourm i could n't find any soultion for this...if you are having any idea plz...
