Asset accounting report.

Hi,

I m FI consultant and first time i m doing work on asset report ,alreday i have provided field and tables to abaper,but they want process flow :

Seniro is ,in one table there is so many fields ,e.g in anlz there is plant,cost center ,internal order number,business area ...... so my quation is who we write the process flow of asset accounting ,like this table = this field and pickup the other field to correspond this table ,my input is standard From ( AR01).

Soplz tell me how i can write process flow for this report

Knowledge about Tables are required as we require to prepare functional specs for requirement of client, which is given to Abaper. In Functional specs we require to provide details of Tables & fields along with table link.

how we link this one table to another table ,plz give me one example ,my input is asset number

Hi Pramod,

You said is exactly correct, we should prepare Functional spec to client before preparing functional spec, we should get their requirement of the report.

How client want to see the report, if same type of report already exist then we can suggest or otherwise we have to prepare Custom Zreport for fullfilling their requirements.

about tables link:

If you are preparing one report using multiple tables then our functional folks duty is to give the details of tables and fields only.

with the details Abaper can prepare new report and he will prepare one customize table or otherwise he will pull all the data from different tables for the executing report.

To see asset balance you can tell std. SAP t.code AR01.

Likewise in orderto get the report we can use tables which can be available from the SAP.
