Hi,

we want to execute the dep. monthly in background.Can we execute the all months at a time in background? Please give your valuable advice as early as possible.

hi Nagi,

you can run as 'Unplanned posting run' then it will be run for all months. For example, last run you had in January and you run now for December, and if you tick (like above), than it will calculate and post between February and December.

Hi,

You can do it in the following way.

1) Create a different variant for each month

2) Schedule a background job for these variants sequentially ( for ex. Jan, Feb.. Dec). Ensure that there is sufficient time gap between the start times of each variant

3) Ensure that the posting periods are open for all months

Remember that if one of the jobs fail the rest will fail too.

the way Eric has described how to post the depreciation is the best way to do it. (in my opinion)
