How do I combine screen dialog and selection screen?

Hi all, I am a newbie so I need help on this problem...

I need to have an application that will

1. Let users search for database records.

2. Display the Search Dialog screen for the user to enter customer name.

3. Display search results(Customer records) in a dialog screen.

4. When the user selects customer record the application should populate the screen with parameters, but no screen painter is allowed.

    Hi Ramorua,

    Try like this code.

    Parameters : P_cust type dbtab-Field.

    Write / P_cust.

    Where dbtab - Table Name in Database table.

    Field - Customer field name in your database table.
