Service Calls as a solution ?

Hello Experts,

a Department in my Company need something like a tracking system.

Something like we register a ticket and it will be forwarded to the next employee who work on it and forward it back with remark as "Solved" or he send it to the next one who could help in this..

It is really like a tracking system with attachments and text of what he has done in this step.

I was wondering if Service calls could help in this issue?

I become a problem to solve , i make a service call with the name of the next employee that has to work with it , he does his part ( add an attachment or text ) and forward it back to me as solved or to the next employee who does the same until the problem solved.

what do you think ?

We are using SAP Business one and Coresuite Add-ons in case that could help somehow.

In SAP B1 there is a service module where you can record the complaints of customer as well as vendor.

Assign the issue to the team

Record the resolution which leads to knowledge base

Record the transactions in terms of SO, DC, Invoicing

Record the activities in terms of calls, meeting etc.

Provide the resolutions and close the call.

On the basis of above activities, one can get the varied kind of reports.

Hello and thank you for your answers.

What i really need is something like a tracking system which would be very useful if it is connected to the database that i have in SAP.

i mean using a specialized Software could be very helpful but i need to add Data about Vendors or Customers or Invoices which i already have in my Database so i will do it doublet.

It is all about Invoices that i have to register and track until i get a solution from our Employee why these Invoices could not be purchasing yet.

so it is like i have to register an Invoice and let the Employee forward it one to the other until someone can decide whether it can be paid or not and at the end i need to see all the remarks from all the employees who were involved until we got a solution for the problem.

SAP Business One can do this as Pradnya S described, but if you need the ticket system for internal use, or you only mean to invoice a customer for the ticket in general, I would recommend a more specialized software. Fortunately there are several freemium and (hosted) open source alternatives.
