Movement type 558

Hi All,

I want to use movement type 558 to increase material's stock quantity. First in migo I input all the information include material, plant, storage location, and quantity. When saving there is no error and material document has been created successfully. But when I use mmbe to check the stock, found that stock quantity has been not increased. Can anybody tell me the reason?

Thanks,

--Alex

558 is only designed for a very special purpose. For details see OSS note 392205.

It updates stock in transit. Maybe you are looking at the wrong column in MMBE.

    Hi Alex,

With the mmt type 558 you are receiving the material in "stock in transit".

You can't see the effect of it in MMBE.

Rather you can see the total stock in transit with T- code M5BT
