transfer data from dataobject to dataobject?

how can i implement transfer data from one dataobject to the other dataobject direct ?

my bw system version is bi7.00

    hi,

    Yes, you can tranfer the data from one object to the other. For this you need to create the transformations and execute the DTP's (Assuming dataobject as a Infoprovider).

    Wht do u mean by data object? u mean from one masterdata object to another masterdata object.....

      Expand Object A - Right Click on Object A (Attribute) - Create Transformation - Source - Object B (Attribute) .

      Right Click on Object A (Attribute) - Create DTP - Source - Object B (Attribute) .

      Likewise for Text...

      • If you want to have same master data for Object B as in Object A, just create Object B as reference to Object A.
