Electronic bank Statement

Our client is downloading the bank statement from internate. Can we call it electronic bank statement. Please reply me.

    HI Naik,

    the concept of electronic bank statement is importing the bank statement from PC to SAP r/3.

    there are two types of Bank statements

    1. Manual bank statement

    2. Electronic bank statement

    Manual bank statement means to enter data manually. If it is downloaded from Internet even.

    for your question answer is depends how your client updating bank statement into SAP.

      HI Reva Naik,

      If you are clint entering data manually and doing reconciliation manually then it is called Manual Bank statement.

      In the manual bank statement function, you can create up to two postings for each line item.

      A bank account posting (for example, debit bank account and credit bank clearing account)

      A subledger posting (for example, debit bank clearing account and credit customer account with clearing)
