Release strategy

Hi

I have a requirement for setting relase strategy for purchase requisition only for manully created PR,

if i set release procedure for PR all the PR will be subjected to approval but i dont want the PR which are generated through MRP to be subjected to approval, can i restrict the approval process at document level.

    hi all depends on the characteristic and class you create. .for ex if you want to have a control through document type then we can segregate as manual PR.We will define release only for document type manual PR.hope this will solve your purpose.

    You can have diff purchasing group/Doc type for auto generated PRs

    Dear friend,

    Simple solution for this is create one new characteristic, input in the table name CEBAN and Field name ESTKG (Creation Indicator). You assign this characteristic to your class and in release strategy you will get different options MRP generated, Manual...etc. Accordingly you configure your release strategy...
