BOM item validity date and MRP Run

Dear Guru's

We are using REM .

Based on our operations we are created intermediate operation code on 29.11.2007 and added in the BOM structure.

We run MRP for that BOM.I have backlogs in the productions from 07.06.2007 .

after MRP Run we have checked the demand for that new intermediate code and their below item in the BOM structure , we are not getting demand for backlogs upto 29.11.2007in the planned orders

But we are getting demand for the intermediate codes and others items below that intermediate codes for present and future demands after 29.11.2007.

Any customizing settings i have made .

Pls guide us to resolve this issues.

    Hi,

    Your problem is you are getting planned order and pur. order only from the date when you are running the mrp.

    Previous date not created.If you want to create for past date also, use tcode OPU5.

    Indicate start days in past,Scheduling - Backward scheduling

    It will solve your problem.

      Hi,

      In OPU5 select your plant & order type.

      Below of scheduling type there is a '<b>Start date in the past'</b>. Give the input of how many days in past.

      And check in OPU3 do the same setting.
