How to provide access to SAP Design Studio?

Hi,

I am new to SAP BO Admin Profile.I want to create a new user and provide him access to Design Studio.Basically he(User) should be able to login to SAP BO Design Studio.I know how to create a new user in BO CMC.But how to provide that user access to Design Studio application?

If the user is just running the application from Launchpad, go to CMC- > Applications -> Design Studio Runtime " Launch Analysis application" right. And of course, you need to provide view on demand access to universes and connections , if the DS application is using Universes. It varies based on the source DS application uses.

Ok thanks Jawahar.What i understand is if any users wants to run the Design Studio Dashboard(Application) from BI launchpad he will be able to run it by the way as you explained.

If the same user wants to login to Design Studio rich client tool then where should i add his/her login id in CMC?

Same rights as if you give webi type of access. If your source is Universe, grants rights on universe and connection. For more details, check the Admin guide for Design Studio.
