This is an extract from the SAP help:

"With one ABAP program, you can maintain one basic list and up to 20 detail lists. "

Of course you can create more than 21 lists in a program, but you should manipulate with SY-LSIND, but in such a case you will lose some of your previous lists.

no u cant create more than 20 secondary list if u try it will end in dumb.

START-OF-SELECTION.

WRITE 'Click me!' COLOR = 5 HOTSPOT.

AT LINE-SELECTION.

WRITE: / 'You clicked list', sy-listi,

/ 'You are on list', sy-lsind.

WRITE: 'More ...' COLOR = 5 HOTSPOT.

Yes, By making SY-LSIND = 1, again you can go till 20 detail lists.
