How to let TREX support more file format that is not provided by SAP?

Trex supported a list of file formats , does Trex provide extension API for third party so that they can implement to support more file format full text search ? for example, I have a special format .wec, trex does not recognize and full text search is not supported for this document, What Can I do to enable full text searching for it?

    normally all supported by TREX mime-types are already listed in the TREXValidMimeTypes.ini file, so it's not possible to add any new additionally.

    TREX also doesn't have any APIs for third party software .

    I tried to find out anything about the WEC mim-type, but without success. What's the application uses this? Where I could find some examples of documents for testing?
