    hi Vivek,

for Synchronization you can follow the link

    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04s/helpdata/en/11/c99e412f14ae5fe10000000a1550b0/frameset.htm

Go to synchronization manager then go to synchronization

It will help you to understand.

    >>The container in XI?

if you are asking about component then as replied in your last query

    component of xi

1)SLD--where you can define product ,product version, software and swcv.

    2) IR(intregration repository)--here you can design the scenario for example data type, message type, interface and mapping.

    3) here you can define the path of the message

configuration part means Receiver determination and condition if any

like interface determination and its condition.

**PS: If useful the reward points**

we have 3 types of container elements

Simple-->is used to define the counters, here we need to mention the type....

    Abstract -

    > used to define the abstract interfaces for receive step and send step..

Receiver--->generally used for receiver determination step which maintains the receiver list..
